Product of the Week: Smashbox Photo Finish Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer
It's my first weekly Product of the Week post! Yay!
Thanks to Amy for the request/suggestion.
This week I am obsessed with the Smashbox Photo Finish Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Foundation Primer. It is an amazing way to create an oil-free, shine-free, flawless canvas out of your skin before applying your foundation and a little bit goes a long way. I use it on myself and at photoshoots and on brides - it rocks in all situations and for most skin types. While it's not the cheapest primer on the market, you definitely get your money's worth. Ok, so here is how it works:
My hand before - Notice the texture in my skin on my hand.
Step One - put a small amount (about the size of a pea or less) on the tip of your finger and apply even amounts to the corners of your face and your nose (forehead, chin, cheaks, nose).
Step Two - spread evenly over your entire face, especially your T-Zone and chin and places where your skin gets oily or where you have larger pores (for me it's the sides of my nose and my cheeks)
Step Three - stare at your flawless skin in absolute wonder, feel how amazingly soft it feels and apply your concealer/foundation.
The before and after results are pretty spectacular and the cool thing is that if you have really oily skin, you can reapply throughout the day to those spots on top of your makeup to get rid of the shine - but I have NEVER had to do this and my skin can be quite oily.
Here is where you can get it:
