Hologram Beauty values the safety of our clients above all else. Below you will find a detailed plan on how we plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep our personnel and clients safe while they enjoy our services.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Hologram Beauty will utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and face masks as appropriate. When services such as Facials, Facial Waxing, and Makeup Application require the client to be without a mask, Hologram Beauty will wear both a mask and face shield. New, sanitized safety clothing such as aprons will be used by Hologram Beauty during all services.
Ensure frequent and adequate hand washing with adequate maintenance of supplies. Use single-use disposable gloves, where safe and applicable, to prevent transmission on tools and items that are shared, and discard after a single use.
Hologram Beauty professionals will wash their hands regularly, before and after going to the bathroom, before and after eating and after coughing, sneezing or blowing their nose. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol can also be used but are not a replacement for the water requirement.
Not touching the face with unwashed hands or with gloves
Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
Clean and disinfect frequently-touched objects and surfaces such as workstations, machines, shared tools, doors and door handles
Cover the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing as well as other hygienic recommendations by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
CLEANING AND LAUNDRY
Establish a housekeeping schedule that includes frequent cleaning and sanitizing with a particular emphasis on commonly touched services, hard surfaces, implements, and other tools used within the studio.
All soft materials such as towels will be freshly cleaned prior to each service. Hologram Beauty uses the sanitizing guidelines outlined by the CDC to clean all towels, sheets, blankets, aprons, and protective clothing.
COVID-19 FACILITY SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In order to provide a safe back to work environment for themselves and clients.
1. Authorized access to the business will be through the front door. Client will text Hologram Beauty upon arrival and will wait either outside the Mosaic main door or in their vehicle until Hologram Beauty alerts them that it is time to come in.
2. Client must wear cloth or disposable mask upon entry and must wash hands/use sanitizer immediately.
3. Client occupancy will be kept at one to one service inside the studio.
4. All appointments will be separated by a minimum of 30 minutes to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing of studio.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MAKING APPOINTMENTS
Client must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving at the studio
Clients should not plan on bringing other guests with them
Clients should put on a face mask prior to leaving the vehicle, and they should be prepared to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds prior to starting their service.
Payments for service should be through credit or debit cards to reduce the handling of cash.
Onsite services for makeup application and hair styling will be handled in the following manner:
All clients must complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire and liability waiver 24 hours prior to service
Hologram Beauty will wear PPE for all services including a face mask
All surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized prior to Hologram Beauty setting up kits.
Hologram Beauty will use a new, sanitized set of brushes and disposable tools for each makeup client.
Hologram Beauty will not use lip liner, only lipstick/liquid lipstick with a disposable applicator.
All makeup will be cleaned and sanitized in between each client.
All hair tools will be cleaned and sanitized in between each client.
If a client tests positive for COVID-19 after a service, Hologram Beauty will immediately halt all business and services. Hologram Beauty employees will immediately be tested for COVID-19 and will isolate until results are available.
If employee tests positive for COVID-19, all business will stop and all appointments will be cancelled for the appropriate amount of time. Hologram Beauty will contact all clients whom have been in contact with the infected employee.
In either case, the entire studio, all products and surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized. All linens will be laundered in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
